Mounting this solar charger is simpler than ever! A built-in mounting bracket allows the charger to set on top of a t-post, y-post, and round wood posts as well. If you would prefer, you could also hang it from the holes in the charger by the handle.
To prepare your charger for use, switch the on/off button to the “off” position and allow it to receive 3 days of sunlight. From there, the charger is ready for use! The solar panel is designed to store solar energy and it will last up to 2 weeks without sunlight. Place it anywhere along your fence line – its durable case should protect it from harsh weather.
This charger is built to last! The ESP30M-Z comes complete with a sturdy cabinet around the circuitry to protect it from weather extremes that could potentially cause damage.
For easy installation, the ESP30M-Z features easy-grip screw-on terminal knobs that help you connect your ground-rods and your live fence wire. Connect the fence line to the red terminal and the ground line to the green knob.
The built-in 'Fence OK' light allows for easy fence monitoring. If the light is active, your fence is up and running. Do quick checks on your fence and be certain that power is flowing from its internal storage battery.
