Use this DC-powered electric fence energizer on remote areas of your property to power your fence lines. Featuring 0.25 output joules, this solid state energizer is best for short-haired animals, including horses, cattle and pigs. This charger includes connection cables to make your 6 or 12-volt battery hookup. Mount this fence charger on the hanging holes built into its durable, weather-resistant case.
When used with steel wire and no weeds touching the line, this charger can power up to 5 miles of fencing. With light weeds or poly fence line, it can power up to 2.5 miles of fencing.
For easy installation, the EDC5M-Z features easy-grip screw-on terminal knobs that help you connect your ground-rods and your live fence wire. Connect the fence line to the red terminal and the ground line to the green knob.
Monitor your fence status by checking the simple “Fence OK” light. If the light is active, then your fence is up and running. This allows you to do quick spot checks on your fence and indicates when the power is flowing from the outlet.
