Pair via Bluetooth for easy setup. When connecting keep your phone near the outdoor camera.
Install the solar panel on a south-facing wall, away from shade, for maximum sunlight. Clean it regularly. For the wireless camera, fully charge it with the power cable first, as the solar panel’s charging efficiency is limited.
Before first use, fully charge the outdoor camera—the battery may drain during shipping. No charging indicator light; check the battery level in the app (top of camera settings). If no change, try switching networks or resetting the camera.
Does this security camera support 5GHz wifi connection?
The solar camera only works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (not 5GHz). During setup:
Connect your phone to a 2.4GHz network.
Install the camera in an area with strong Wi-Fi signal.
Solar panel not charging? Try these:
Face panel south at 15-30° angle, at least 6 hrs direct sun daily.
Wipe dust off panel.
USB-C charge fully before first use.
Check cable connection. Let us know if still not charging.
Battery drains too fast?
Fast drain = more recording than solar can recharge. Reduce motion sensitivity or shorten recording duration in busy areas. For cloudy days, use USB-C to top up. If the USB-C port isn't charging either, please let us know.
Do l have to subscribe to the cloud service to see the recordings?
Not for basic alerts. Motion alerts give 10-second clips at no extra cost.
Longer recordings (up to 1 min) require cloud plan or SD card.
