What if my cat doesn't like taking a powdered supplement?
Because we understand that all cats are different, we’ve developed four different Lysine food supplement products: Viralys Powder, Viralys Gel, Enisyl-F Bites, and Enisyl-F Paste. Each one has been designed with different feline preferences in mind, to make administering Lysine supplements as easy as possible. They all allow you to give the correct Lysine dosage to your furry friend in seconds and can all be safely used for as long as your cat needs them, with no known side effects. They’re also all suitable for cats and kittens of all ages. So whatever the preferences of your cat, there’s a Vetoquinol Lysine supplement that will suit her tastes perfectly!
What is the recommended dose?
The recommended Lysine dosage is 500mg twice a day for cats six months and older and 250mg twice a day for kittens under six months. Following package instructions, simply give cats over six months of age one rounded scoop twice daily and kittens under six months of age ½ rounded scoop twice daily. Always follow your veterinarian’s guidelines.
What size tub does Viralys come in?
Our Viralys Lysine powder is available in a 600g tub or a handy 100g tub, ideal if you need to travel with your cat. A single scoop of our Lysine powder provides one 500mg dose. Each 100g tub has approximately 50 doses for cats and 100 doses for kittens. Refer to package directions for dosage guidelines.
I've lost my Viralys scoop, what can I do?

Can I use Viralys on my dog?
Viralys is recommended for cats and kittens. However, it is safe if eaten by dogs.
