Cotoss Handcrafted tiffany style lamps lampshade is slight heavy than you expected, as it is made of real stained glass.
Because of its special manufacturing process. There is air between each glass. So it sounds like plastic when you knock it.
Each glass piece is cut by hand, polish the edge before wrapping the copper foil. Then putted together in a mould according to the pattern.
At last, using soldering tin to weld each glass at a very high temperature. Only stained glass can afford this temperature.
