Are your products food safe?
Yes! We do not use any harmful chemicals or synthetic glazes to coat our boards.
Are your boards dishwasher safe?
No, you can simply wash your board with hot, soapy water after each use. Rinse, dry/air dry, and store when completely dry or just display on the counter.
Do I need to oil my board?
Yes. Although Teak's naturally high oil content keeps your board hydrated for longer periods of time, oiling twice a month will keep your board healthy.
Are your boards pre-finished?
Yes, all our boards are pre-finished with a mix of mineral oil and beeswax. Our Boards are ready to use. Before using for the first time, wash with warm soapy water, and rinse dry with a kitchen towel.
How do I keep my board odor and stain-free?
A teak cutting board rarely absorbs odors or stains, yet, they can happen! Rub a lemon on the board and sprinkle with salt or baking soda. Then, wash, rinse, and dry.
