Why We Love the Woodland Adventure Playhouse & Slide!

woodland adventure playhouse and slide

Attractive Styling

The classic wooden construction of this kids playhouse is a beautiful addition to any backyard. Mixed materials and textures create a unique look and more fun!

sink

Realistic Amenities

A working Dutch-style door, swivel faucet, and kitchen sink add to the pretend play! Kids can whip up a meal in their home just like Mom and Dad with the included cooktop space, too.

storage

Extra Storage

Keep pretend play toys within reach using the included pull-out storage drawer. The drawer tucks neatly under the playhouse, making clean-up a breeze.

Why Play with a Playhouse?

role play

Creativity + Role Play

Pretend play gets kids engaged in storytelling as they act out new scenarios and communicate what imaginary things are going on – a great way to flex creativity and language skills!

social skills

Language + Social Skills

Role playing requires kids to engage in storytelling as they make up scenarios and communicate with others about what role they’re playing. They also have to react and build off of what the other person said or did.

self expression

Esteem + Self-Expression

Using pretend play toys to mimic Mom and Dad helps instill a sense of independence in children. They feel a sense of power in being able to do what you can do!

critical thinking

Critical Thinking

Running into problems while playing, like trouble closing the refrigerator door when too many items are placed inside or trying to swivel the faucet over a full sink, allows children to think through problems and craft solutions.

The Step2 Brand: We Bring Family Together.

Kids are the dreamers, the storytellers, the athletes, artists, and actors. They’re the playtime visionaries ready to explore, think, and learn through uninhibited play. Our team at Step2 is proud to create new ways to play, to turn every child’s imaginary world into a reality. Behind those magical playtime spaces full of wonderment and exploration is one – or many – of our uniquely indestructible toys, from playhouses and play kitchens, to climbers, ride-ons and so much more. Part of multiple generations of play, we’re the innovators working to keep our tradition of active social play at the forefront of countless childhood memories.

So keep playing, dreaming, and exploring with your child. Just imagine what they’ll imagine – that’s where we’ll be, continuing to bring “what could be” to life.

Play Together!

  • House Role Play: Pretend to be a neighbor to your child’s very own home! Knock on the door to announce your arrival and chat with your little one about what’s new in the neighborhood and what they’re doing at home today.
  • Make sharing the clean-up responsibilities fun with your little one. Putting yard toys away in the storage drawer when playtime is over will help foster good habits, show an example of teamwork, and a bonus in motor skill development!
  • Pretend Play: Pretend their playhouse is now a pirate ship! Look out for enemy ships on the upper platform and cook for the crew in the galley kitchen below. Then upon arrival to shore, use the slide to begin the land expedition!
