First, push the capsule firmly into the holder. Second, put the capsule holder into the portafilter properly. Third, screw the portafilter into the body tightly, or else the brew may fail.
Is the coffee hot if you use cold water?
The machine does not heat the water, the coffee will be the same temperature as the water you put in. If you use boiling water, the coffee will come out hot. If you use cold water, it'll be cold.
