Jero Spring Assisted Kitchen Shears are the original spring shear designed and manufactured for kitchen and restaurant use. Jero shears are copied by many brands, but Jero is still the only brand using quality stainless steel, commercial grade polymers and extra heavy-duty replaceable spring. For many years Jero produced this shear for a well-known US-based kitchen utensil brand. When that company decided to drop Jero for a lower-cost manufacturer, Jero decided to continue manufacturing this popular shear. Jero still manufactures this shear in their modern manufacturing facility located in Portugal. In 2020 the blade edges were improved to lower drag.
