You will never find a spec of palm fruit oil in any of our products. We decided early on that we did not want to use palm fruit oil in any of our products for two main reasons. First off, palm fruit oil has been and continues to be a major driver hurting our ecosystem, destroying the habitat of already endangered species like the Orangutan, pygmy elephant, and Sumatran rhino. Palm fruit oil production is said to have been responsible for about 8% of the world's deforestation between 1990 and 2008. Secondly, palm fruit oil has a high saturated fat content, which can be harmful to cardiovascular health.
