From the magnesium components to cord length this saw was built for the pro and every day jobsite demands. Designed with a lightweight resin housing and durable magnesium guard and footplate, SIDEWINDER is the lightest weight saw in its class, weighing only 8.6 lbs. The dual-field motor, a best-in-class powerful 15-amp motor, helps keep the motor cool through the toughest cuts. This 7-1/4 in. saw has a max cutting capacity of 2-7/16 in. at 90° with a maximum 56° bevel capacity featuring positive stop at 0° and 45°. Ideal for applications such as framing, decking, siding and ceilings. Works with soft, hard and engineered woods. Included with the SPT67WL-01 is an on-tool multi-function wrench for blade and brush changes and a 24-tooth carbide SKILSAW blade.
The cut ready level adjusts depth of cut quickly for ¼ ply, ½ ply, ¾ ply and 2x. The long 10 ft. cord helps avoid snagging on sheet goods while ripping.
An integrated dust blower keeps the line of cut clear for aiding in accurate cuts. Indents for 0° and 45° bevel on footplate in front and behind blade to assist in making a true cut.
