The M1099 Metal Lathe has been specially designed to provide years of reliable service. Close attention to detail, ruggedly built parts and a rigid quality control program assure safe and reliable operation.
Just like larger lathes, changing the thread selections is quick and easy on our M1099 10-inch x 26-inch Bench Lathe. Instead of swapping change gears for each thread selection, merely refer to the thread chart and rotate the alpha and numeric dials on the quick change gearbox to make the thread change. This six speed lathe also has extended length hardened and ground precision bedways, 1-inch spindle bore, a selection of chucks, face plate and other accessories.
This metal lathe offers the precision and durability you demand. Includes handy accessories such as a steady rest, multiple chucks and faceplate for turning a wide variety of stock.
The M1099 features a three-jaw scroll chuck that will automatically self-center the workpiece. It has hardened steel external jaws that hold the workpiece on the outside diameter of the part. An extra set of jaws is included for holding larger workpieces on the inside diameter of the part.
The included four-jaw chuck has hardened steel jaws that must be independently adjusted to center the workpiece. Each jaw can be removed from the chuck body and reversed for clamping odd-shaped workpieces. A handy tool for turning a variety of shapes.
This lathe even includes a faceplate for holding non cylindrical parts such as castings.
The M1099 features alpha and numeric dials for easy thread changes. The numeric and alpha dial controls the leadscrew for threading and feeding operations. To make a selection, simply rotate the dial to the corresponding number displayed on the threading or feed charts.
This lathe has an adjustable spindle speed from 150 to 2400 RPM. Easily adjust the speed by referring to the RPM chart to determine which pulley combination you will need to get a particular spindle RPM and simply adjust the belts to the specified pulleys.
