Dr. JB's Clean Feeder Care & Cleaning
It is of utmost importance to keep your hummingbird feeder clean! Hummingbirds will avoid dirty feeders, and spoiled nectar. Replace nectar every 3 to 5 days, especially during periods of very hot weather, and clean feeders often.
Br. JB's Feeders are designed so that every part is easy to clean! To clean the feeder, unscrew the bottle from the base. Lay the base upside-down on a flat, sturdy surface. Firmly push down on opposite sides of the outer rim of the base. The inner part of the base will "pop" loose. Avoid applying direct pressure to the outer perch. Use mild dish soap to clean thoroughly, and always follow up by rinsing with mild bleach and water solution before refilling with nectar.
