How do I charge the DSR168G?
To charge, connect an 18-gauge (or larger) extension cord (not included) to the connector on the side of the jump starter and plug the extension cord into a 120V AC outlet. Charge immediately after purchase, after each use, and every 30 days.
How do I connect the clamps to my battery?
For a negative-grounded vehicle (modern industry standard), connect the positive (red) clamp to the positive post of the battery and then connect the negative (black) clamp to the vehicle chassis or engine block.
How do I use the 12V DC port to power a device?
With the device off, plug the 12V DC device into the DC power outlet. Then turn on the 12V DC device (if required).
Why won’t the jump starter jump start the vehicle?
There are many reasons why the unit isn’t jump starting a vehicle. It could be a poor or reversed connection between the clamps and the battery, a depleted internal battery, or a defective vehicle battery. See the user manual for more information.
Why won’t the DSR168G power my 12V device?
There are many reasons why the unit won’t power a device. The 12V device may not be turned on, the unit’s battery may not be charged, or the 12V device may draw more than 15 amps or may have a short circuit. See the user manual for more information.
