DSR119 schumacher woohoo
Does it come with a charging cord?
Because it was designed for professional shops and garages, the DSR119 does not come with a charging cord. Instead, it has been designed to use any 18-gauge (or larger) extension cord, which plugs into the charging port on the side of the unit.
How do I charge the DSR119?
To charge, connect any 18-gauge (or larger) extension cord (not included) to the charging port on the back of the unit and plug the extension cord into a 120V AC outlet. You can also charge while driving, using a male-to-male 12V charger cable.
How do I maintain the internal battery unit?
Charge immediately after purchase, after each use, and every 30 days to keep the battery healthy and extend the lifespan of the unit.
How long does it take to charge the internal battery?
This depends on several factors, including the current charge level, the gauge of the extension cord, and the age of the unit. However, it can take up to several days to fully charge the unit if it is severely depleted.
How do I check the internal battery’s charge status?
Press the red Battery Status button on the front of the jump starter. If the charge is 50% or less the red LED will light. If the charge is 51% to 75% the yellow/orange LED will light. If the battery is fully charged, the green LED will light.
