The SC1308 does not have an internal battery. It must be plugged into any AC outlet before charging will start.
Will the SC1308 desulfate a battery?
Yes, the SC1308 has an automatic desulfation mode. If the battery requires desulfation, the unit will automatically switch to desulfation during charging. Desulfation can take up to 10 hours.
Does the SC1308 use multi-stage charging?
Yes, the SC1308 is controlled by a microprocessor that employs an advanced charging algorithm to optimize battery health. This passes through several stages including bulk mode, absorption, float mode, and maintain mode.
What does 6A<>2A mean?
When the 6A<>2A charge rate is selected the SC1308's microprocessor will automatically adjust the amperage between 6A and 2A as needed to fully charge the battery and then maintain the charge.
