This 2-quart batter bowl is going to be your best friend. It’s lightweight and comes with an anti-skid base. This mixing bowl was designed with a more modern look while in fashion-forward colors. Double-sided embossed measurements make mixing so much easier. It’s microwave, freezer, and dishwasher safe. The handle comes off to help reduce space and will fit inside any size microwave.

Calypso Basics's batter bowl has an anti-skid ring built into the base. This restricts the batter bowl from moving on your counter top, when in use.
Why do you need a detachable handle anyway? This feature was created for convenience when not in use. You can store the handle in the bowl so that it takes up less space in your cabinet and will not kick open your cabinet doors. It's also helpful to save space in your refrigerator. Taking the handle off is easy to do. Just wiggle the handle while pushing down to remove. To attach, align the handle to the base and pull up until handle is securely attached. The handle will be secure when held.
This customized lid will fit perfectly on the Calypso Basic's batter bowl (any color or pattern), This lid is not included but should be your next considered purchase. This semi-clear lid is great as a splatter guard for the microwave and comes with an adjustable vent. Or use it when you want to store away food in your refrigerator or freezer.

Calypso Basics has added double sided embossed measurements to make things easier. The different capacities are indicated in quarts, cups and ounces.
You will find that the handle has a concave shape which will allow people with smaller hands, to have a secure grip while pouring.
With the microwavable feature you can now melt butter, chocolate, or marshmallows! If you need to heat a sauce, or cook some pasta, well this mixing bowl can do that too!
