Each FastMount Rail functions as a template for where to put two screws in, and they allow the gate to be installed at any angle, if needed.
The At-A-Glance Indicator on the handle confirms that the gate is properly locked and secure. Green when locked and Red when unlocked and hazardous.
Included baseboard adapters allow install over baseboards up to 0.75” thick & 4.25” tall. If your baseboards are bigger, you'll need a Baseboard Kit.
The Qdos Universal Stair Mounting Adapter fits ALL brands of pressure & hardware-mount baby gates. Fits square banisters up to a MAX of 4” x 4” or round banisters up to 5” in diameter.
The Qdos Universal Stair Mounting Adapter also attaches to spindles to create a level mounting surface. All homes are unique--this flexible solution works with ALL brands of baby gates up to 34" tall.
Installing a baby gate over baseboard causes issues getting the gate level. Our Universal Baseboard Adapter works with baseboards up to 7/8" thick & up to 7" tall to create a safe level surface.
Each Qdos Safety Adapter is designed for use on ONE side, as many homes have baseboards on one side and a banister on the other. If you have baseboards or banisters on both sides, you will need to purchase either TWO Universal Baseboard Adapters or TWO Universal Stair Mounting Adapters.
