What are the rollers made of — could they be aluminum?
The rollers that touch your dough are solid food-grade stainless steel — real steel, not an aluminum core. They feel substantial, roll smoothly, and hold up over time.
Will it break after a few uses?
Stainless steel rollers and a metal body make it solid and built for the long run. If anything ever comes up, our team is easy to reach and quick to help.
Will it fit my mixer?
It fits all household KitchenAid stand mixers (tilt-head and bowl-lift: Artisan, Classic, Professional), plus Cuisinart SM-50, SM-50BC, and SM-50R. It snaps onto the power hub — no tools, no adapters. (Compatible with, but not made by, KitchenAid.)
Will the noodles stick together?
Dust each sheet lightly with flour, step down thickness gradually, and don't nest fresh-cut strands — spread or hang them to air-dry briefly. Strands stay separate, no boil-overs.
Can I make gluten-free or egg-yolk dough?
Yes. Gluten-free dough is more delicate, so step down the thickness gradually (don't skip settings) and it won't tear. Egg-yolk doughs work beautifully too. Any rollable dough is fair game.
