The CS1400 has all the traditional conveniences of an electric chainsaw — instant start with the pull of a trigger, minimal maintenance, low noise, and silent between cuts — and is equipped with premium ControlCut 91PXL Oregon chain.
Lubricating the bar and chain is very important to prevent premature wear and maintain optimal performance of your chainsaw. When you use your CS1400 for the first time, you need to prime the oiler. Unplug the chainsaw and remove the bar and chain. Then, plug in the chainsaw and run it for about 2 to 3 minutes. You will see oil on the bar pad. The CS1400 is equipped with an automatic oiler system for easy and quick lubrication.
