Old Friend Footwear was founded in Seattle, Washington in 1981. Like our name, our slippers are Old Friends. The prevalent logo of a dog holding up its masters slippers is everywhere at Old Friend Footwear. The dog pictured, a golden retriever named Bo, faithfully accompanied the founder to work every day where she curled up on, what else, her sheepskin rug nestled at his feet. Bo has since departed, but the friendship people have with their pets is not unlike the kinship they share with their slippers. In this spirit, the founder named the company "Old Friend" and made Bo the icon of the brand.
In 2011, the company was centrally relocated to Chanhassen, Minnesota under new ownership. We've carried on the tradition of making quality and workmanship our number one priority. We strive to maintain our goal of providing our customers with high quality, functional slippers that represent our namesake and are truly a delight to wear.
For over 25 years, Old Friend Footwear has been a leader in the slipper industry. By bringing together quality and comfort with each style. Old Friend provides a wide selection of men's and women's slippers to meet the needs of every consumer.
Old Friend Footwear prides itself on using 100% sheepskin on select styles, and for that reason we offer several sizes and widths in various different styles. Old Friend sheepskin products are made with super soft, silk-like sheepskin covered with a soft-napped, durable suede leather. Also available from Old Friend are several styles with terry cloth, acrylic, and plaid-cotton lining.
On select styles, Old Friend Footwear uses Genuine Sheepskin. Through an intensive manufacturing and quality control process, you receive only the best. Also available from Old Friend, are two different kinds of replacement sheepskin insoles. Old Friend is a year-round source of comfort.
