We know that there are times in life when you're going to have to go where the work is. The NorthStar Horizontal/Vertical Log Splitter has a two-inch ball coupler, an adjustable jack with oversized wheel, high-speed tires and fenders to make getting to and from the woodpile quick and easy.
That's why we put a Honda GX270 engine on our log splitter. This engine packs a punch and has an exclusive idle down feature that saves fuel and reduces noise while you load the next log. Lower noise levels, lower vibration and lower emissions. Its design gives you better fuel economy.
We use a two-stage Concentric pump that can deliver the same amount of pressure as a single-stage pump, but uses less horsepower. That saves the engine from wear and tear and keeps you splitting longer. That's what we call precision engineering.
It has 4 step process. It has a 100 mesh suction strainer pre-filter, a 40 micron breather, and a 10 micron return line filter that can removes particles that are invisible to human eye.
The backbone of this log splitter is a durable, long-lasting industrial-grade I-beam. To make your job easier, the log splitter has bolt-on cradles that centers logs on the wedge.
