Important: this crate is designed for calm, crate-trained adult dogs. It is not chew-proof, not suitable for puppies still in training, and not recommended for dogs with separation anxiety or escape behaviors. Step 1: Measure your dog

With your dog standing naturally, measure from the tip of their nose to the base of their tail (not the tip). This is your dog's body length. Add 4–6 inches to find the minimum crate interior length you need.

Not sure between two sizes? Always go up. A crate that is slightly larger than the minimum is fine, your dog will be comfortable. A crate that is too small is not. When in doubt, choose the larger size.
