Does it dye my hair black, or correct it?
It doesn't dye your hair black. Cool Black is a toner: blue sits opposite orange on the color wheel, so its cool pigments cancel the red and warmth dark hair develops. Your own depth then reads cooler and richer — corrected, not colored.
What's the difference between the shampoo and the mask?
Use them together as a system. The pH 6–7 shampoo cleanses and starts neutralizing warmth; the pH 3.5–5.5 mask deepens correction, smooths the cuticle and seals a cooler black. Shampoo for upkeep, mask to deepen — together for an even result.
How often should I use it — will it dry my hair?
A toning shampoo cleanses deeply and can feel slightly drying — that's why Cool Black is a system. Always follow it with the mask: low pH, hyaluronic acid and panthenol re-hydrate, smooth and seal. Used 2–3× a week, hair feels soft, not stripped.
Will it turn my hair blue?
No — it uses a balanced blue level made to cancel red and warmth, not to deposit blue. Used as directed it keeps dark hair cool and rich, never blue or grey. On porous or previously lightened hair, start with a shorter mask time.
