CLUMPING DWARF: Mondo Grass is perennial grass with dark foliage and produces white, but very small, flowers and berries during the early summer. This is a dwarf variety only reaching 4-6" in height and width unlike the larger grasses such as liriope.
VERSATILE: This decorative grass is great to use in the landscape along walkways, driveways, rock gardens, groundcovers, or under densely branched trees such as Oaks and Magnolias.
MAINTENANCE: If you are using this grass for your lawn there is little that is required to maintain it. You'll want to remove any weeds that appear and keep it dry in the dry season... that's it! Divide clumps every three years if grown as standalone plants.
USDA ZONES: Plants by Mail Mondo Grass ground covers thrives in USDA zones 6a-10a and is drought tolerant once it has been established. Until it has been, make sure that the soil of your Mondo Grass remains moist. Whether you plant in full sun, full shade or anything in between this grass will remain healthy.
POTTED PLANT: Ships as 18 individually potted plants with soil from the Alabama Gulf Coast. Not guaranteed to be in bloom on arrival. This plant is unavailable to ship to Hawaii and Alaska.

If your area is extremely cold or hot during a particular month, and you choose to order, you are assuming the risk of the safe arrival of live plants to you. Please be sure to instruct your mailman on proper placement of such packages to avoid prolonged temperature exposure. Customer takes full and sole responsibility for providing care to the plants once in your possession. Customer agrees to open the box and take care of the plants received immediately.
