Mineral Buddies pH & ALK (alkalinity) UP will increase the pH and alkalinity of spa water if needed. The total alkalinity of spa water should be maintained between 80 and 150 ppm. The pH should be within 7.2 to 7.8 ppm. Mineral Buddies pH & Alk (alkalinity) Up increases the effectiveness of the sanitizer when levels are in range.
Useful Tips: Always maintain the pH of your spa water between 7.2-7.8. A low pH reading (below 7.2) can cause equipment corrosion or scale formation. Compatible with all sanitizers including bromine, chlorine, mineral sanitizers, and biguanide.
