We love this simple yet powerful solar pump with easy setup, strong suction power, and sensitive solar panel. You can see from the photos and video that we use a pizza pan to offer a shallow bath for smaller birds like hummingbirds and an upside down terracotta pot to house the pump. The solar panel is affixed to the top of the fence and exposed to maximum sunshine all day long. It works beautifully!
I’ve been using this little fountain for almost a year now, and it works great. Good suction power, it’s not too strong, so it doesn’t get water out of my small pond. Has different attachments for different types of fountains. The cord is long enough so I can put the solar panel in the sun, which is a big deal for me since my pond is in a shade for most of the day. Overall, very satisfied and really love this little fountain. Planning to make another pond, and going to buy the same fountain again.
This little fountain is cute. It’s powerful. But the solar panel has to be directly in the sun for it to work. It won’t work it’s a cloud covers the sun. But when the sun is directly on it it works great.
Really excited about using this fountain. Being in Arizona, I have to make sure there is water in bath but the fountain works great.. The birds and even the small lizards like getting a drink. Waiting for the hummingbirds to take a bath. Thank you.
So far so good. It arrived quickly and is working perfectly as hoped. The solar panel does not have a stake to hold it up but I have it sitting next to my water bowl. It’s working great and I love it
It works perfectly for my hydroponic project
We installed the Solar fountain on a birdbath we already owned. With no electricity near by, we thought we’d try solar. We purchased a one foot rubber tube from the local hardware store, connected it to the pump and ran it through the fountain. Then we set the solar panel on top of the fence to insure it got plenty of sun. It works better than I imagined.
