Once attached, turn the knob to engage the cutting wheel and then twist clockwise so that the LidLifter completes a full circle around the lid.
Less resistance will be felt after a full circle is completed. Stop turning - the can is now open and the lid is ready to be removed.
WARNING: don't cut more than one full circle. Over cutting may create burrs or slivers that could cause injury.
To release the LidLifter, turn the knob counter-clockwise. The can may not look open, but it is.
Use the mini-pliers on the side of the opener to lift the lid away from the can. Grip the rim of the lid between the pliers and lift the lid cleanly and easily.
