If this alarm goes off will my other alarms go off?
Yes, this Kidde smoke & CO detector interconnects with up to 18 Kidde detectors total (smoke, CO, smoke/CO, or heat) per NFPA interconnect limit.
Can I use adhesive strips to attach to the ceiling?
No, adhesive strips are not recommended for installation. Mounting bracket and screws are included for your convenience.
If the alarm goes off, how can I tell whether it's due to smoke or carbon monoxide?
The smoke alarm sound is three long beeps, a 1.5 second pause, and 3 long beeps repeating. The CO alarm is four quick beeps repeating every 5 seconds.
