Injection-molded Polypropylene Woofers
The woofers are constructed from injection-molded polypropylene. This process of cone molding assures a uniform cone thickness for superior linearity and clarity. It is also lighter weight and more rigid for decreased distortion and improved bass response. Each woofer uses a treated-cloth surround.
1" PPTA Balanced-dome Tweeters
Each speaker features a 1" PPTA balanced-dome tweeter. PPTA is a high-quality construction material with quick response (rivaling very expensive titanium) and significant internal loss, resulting in accurate transient response and limited tweeter resonance.
