The Kenai Chest Holster was designed as the ultimate way to carry a firearm when hiking, hunting, fishing or any other outdoor activity where having a firearm on your hip is inconvenient or impossible.

After spending years struggling with poor options for carrying while in the mountains, the crew here at GunfightersINC knew that there had to be a better solution to carrying in the woods. After dozens of prototypes, we settled on a design that allowed the firearm to be placed in a secure and comfortable position, ready to draw when needed.

We settled on a blend of Kydex and Nylon for excellent retention characteristics, weatherproofness and lightweight. The Kenai Chest Holster is a perfect pairing with a modern firearm such as the Glock 40MOS or a classic big bore revolver such as the Ruger Super Redhawk.

The Kenai Chest Holsters' harness is designed for all day comfort during whatever outdoor activity you might be doing.

The buckles are strategically located to be out of way of pack straps, rifle slings and bino slings. The wide, flat webbing maximizes comfort while preventing chaffing or hot spots. It’s adjustable for most body types and can be worn low or high on the chest, depending on what you're doing.

The harness has a 4 way stretch yoke to increase comfort and mobility. The yoke was designed so that it sits flat to reduce pressure points while wearing a backpack - an important consideration when carrying a heavy load.

The harness is sewn in house by GunfightersINC of 100% US made Nylon. It’s solution-dyed for long-term durability and color fastness. Additionally, all thread is coated with waterproofing and is UV resistant for a long lifespan.

GunfightersINC was founded by a US Army Veteran in 2010 to build the highest quality Kydex gear possible for everyday carry. Located in the Cascade Mountains in the town of Leavenworth, Washington; GunfightersINC is in the unique position of being able to test gear frequently both on the range and in the mountains. This allows us to rapidly prototype new designs and quickly test them to ensure everything we build meets our quality standards. GunfightersINC strives to be an innovator in the Kydex market. We are dissatisfied with the status quo - and constantly think about applications where currently the ability to carry a firearm is difficult. Our Kenai Chest Holster was in response to the lack of a good option for carrying while backpacking and fishing in wet weather.

We custom build our own molds utilizing the latest advancements in CAD and CNC. From the very start of the holster build process we are able to account for the unique shape that each firearm has and ensure consistent fit. This allows us to have perfect tolerances on every holster we build, assuring excellent fit.

We painstakingly hand cut and shape every holster to have contours, lines and curves that match the lines of your firearm, meaning that not only you have one of the best fitting holsters - but also one of the best looking.
