Infratech heaters use electric infrared radiant heat generated by a heated quartz element. The element emits a safe, clean wavelength of light that transfers heat directly to objects like chairs or tables, rather than heating the air. For this reason, infrared heat can be distributed evenly, unlike gas or propane heaters, and will not “blow away” in drafty conditions.
