The Madrid is part of our premium French Press line, and is designed for those who wish to graduate from the tired, old and common coffee presses available today. It's for people looking to brew with style and quality.
From quality glass, to the fine chrome finish, the Madrid French Press sets itself apart from other manual coffee makers. The 34 oz / 1000 ml presses feature Pyrex glass, which is manufactured in Europe.
Add coarse ground coffee beans to the Madrid French press. One tablespoon of ground coffee for 8 ounces of water is standard, though you can add more for a stronger taste.
Heat the water you will need to brew your coffee (approx. 200°F | 94°C). Pour the water in the Madrid, soaking all the grinds for even flavor extraction.
Place lid on the beaker and leave plunger in the “up” position, just enough to submerge floating coffee grounds under water. Wait 3-4 mins for coffee to brew then gently press the plunger down all the way.
That's it! Pour your French press coffee into a cup, and enjoy. You can experiment with the amount of coffee and brewing time. Remember to maintain a coarse grind for a perfect brew every time.
The MADRID’s design allows coarse ground coffee and loose leaf tea to infuse completely in just a few minutes. It is available in three sizes: 350 ml (1 large cup), 1000 ml (2-3 cups) & 1500 ml (4-5 cups)
Our durable and heatproof glass beaker is made of the highest quality borosilicate glass. This beaker is dishwasher safe & can easily be removed from the chrome housing for convenient and thorough cleaning.
The main filter is attached to the plunger at the bottom of the press while the second filter is in the lid. This will ensure coffee grinds or loose tea leaves stay in the press for a smooth, tasty brew every time.
The Madrid French Press has been designed for durability and style. The distinctive chrome housing ensures the glass beaker never comes in contact with any surface other than the chrome base. The chrome frame also features Tip-Grips that prevent the beaker from slipping out.
