Biochar and its use in amending soil is an ancient Native American technique that has been around for over a thousand years. It is based on the observation that after a forest fire, the soil in the surrounding areas is richer, more fertile, and has more microbial activity. Earthshine blends Biochar with glacial rock dust, soybean meal, humic acid, and worm castings to create a complete soil rejuvenating product to bring new life to your garden.
Mix liberally into soil at rate of 16 oz per 4 cu ft of media.
Apply 8 oz per 4 cu ft of new soil.
If garden is established, top dress once every 4 weeks with 4 oz around base of plant and water thoroughly.
Add 1 oz per 5 gallons of purified water and aerate for 6 hours. Apply to plants at time of watering.
