Granite Ware Pressure Canner/Cooker/Steamer

Product Highlights

The Granite Ware 20-quart Pressure Canner/Cooker/Steamer is a professional-quality tool, and made of hard anodized aluminum, with stay-cool handles and a locking stainless steel lid.

The steamer insert fits into the stepped portion of the vessel about 1/3 the way up from the bottom to hold foods out of the cooking liquid and can handle all your large capacity steaming needs, for tamales, seafood, pulled pork, pot roast, ribs, and more.

An accompanying rack fits down into the pot to keep jars up off the bottom, and comes with folding handles for easy raising and lowering.

Holds up to 7 one-quart jars, 8 one-pint jars or 24 half-pint jars. Model F0730-2 includes Canning Jar Rack and Steamer Trivet (jars not included).

Adjustable pressure to assure great results

The Granite Ware Pressure Canner achieves the high temperatures required to safely process and can meats, poultry, and low-acid vegetables. It can also be used as a pressure cooker for any meal that needs to come together quickly - preserving flavor and nutrients, tenderizing meat, and cooking many foods in 1/3 to 1/10 the time. A pop-up pressure indicator locks the lid in place, it cannot be opened while the canner is pressurized, even if there is just 1 psi of pressure. The vent pipe is located in the center of the lid and if it fails or clogs, an additional black capped safety valve will go off and a second all metal safety valve will exhaust residual pressure while sounding a whistling alarm. The sturdy lid locks in place during canning or cooking with the lid gasket sealing ring forming a pressure tight seal between the body of the canner and the cover during use.

Pressure Canners by Granite Ware

Canning is an economical way to preserve fresh quality food at home while retaining their important vitamins and nutrients. Granite Ware has all the products, tools and accessories to do it safely and successfully.

Granite Ware's 12 and 20 quart pressure canners are large capacity pressure vessels designed for home canning but because of their hard anodized finish they can also be used as a pressure cooker and steamer with outstanding results and no adverse effects on the taste or color of your food. Their large capacity is large enough to create family-sized meals with ease.

3-Piece Regulator Safety System

The Granite Ware pressure canner, steamer, and cooker uses the UL-recommended adjustable 3-piece pressure regulator system. The pressure regulator is calibrated for three different pressure levels at 5, 10 and 15 psi, which is ideal for canning at different altitudes.
