Transfer boards are used to assist people with disabilities or loss of leg function with safely transferring between seated surfaces. The board acts as a bridge, so users can slide conveniently from one seated position to another. Boards are designed to use independently or with support from a caregiver.
FabLife Transfer Boards are made exclusively from high-quality wood to provide a sleek, friction-less surface. The board has tapered ends and a permanent coating to prevent chipping, snagging on clothes or creating of splinters, and to ensure long-term use.
Boards are available in two sizes: 8" x 24" and 8" x 30". All FabLife Transfer Boards support users up to 350 lbs. (159 kgs). A heavy-duty option is available in 8" x 24" to support up to 450 lbs. (204 kgs). Board thickness ranges from 0.79" to 0.87".
