Answer: Ensure you fully insert the XLR connector into the mic until you hear a slight "click" sound, and plug the 6.35mm jack all the way into your device.
*Question: Can the karaoke microphone be used with 3.5mm speakers or 3.5mm amplifier?
Answer: No, the dynamic microphone features a 6.35mm (1/4") output, compatible with 6.35mm speakers, audio interfaces or amplifiers. The 6.35mm microphone can not available with 3.5mm connection even using adapter.
*Question: Does it work with small speakers?
Answer: It works with amplifiers or speakers that have 1/4'' (6.35mm) mic input, but not work with the ones with only 3.5mm input. The DJ Microphone is NOT compatible with ECOXGEAR EcoBoulder+, ION Pathfinder 280, ION Pathfinder 4, Turtle Box and small speakers lower than 15 watt, such as JBL charge, JBL Party Box, Doss touch, Bose.
*Question: ls it compatible with phone/laptop/tablet?
Answer: No, the mic is not compatible with phone/laptop/tablet even with an adapter. The connector of it is 1/4'', much bigger than the 3.5mm one that is used for laptop. The mic is designed to be used with amplifier, speaker or mixer that have 1/4'' mic input.
*Question: Does its cable allow sufficient length for movement during event?
Answer: The wired handheld mic comes with a 14.8ft (4.5m) detachable cable that allows sufficient length for movement. However, we would suggest checking the size of the venue before the event and see if the mic meets your need.
*Question: Is it compatible with karaoke machines?
Answer: It works with most karaoke machine that have 1/4'' mic input, but not work with the ones with only 3.5mm input. We would suggest checking the device's user manual to confirm whether it accepts external wired mic or not.
