The Extech PH90 waterproof pH meter features a rugged IP57-rated outer casing. Suitable for taking measurements in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments, the PH90's flat surface electrode makes it easy to measure pH in liquids, semi-solids, and solids. Unlike traditional glass bulb electrodes, the design of the PH90 resists breaking and prevents junctions from becoming clogged. The easy to replace sensor makes the PH90 the perfect device for use in the lab or in the field.
The digital pH meter provides simultaneous readout of both Temperature and pH, and includes user-friendly features like Auto Power Off and low battery indication.
At just 3oz (85g), the PH90 pH meter is easy to carry in a pocket or toolbox and can be operated with one hand. The PH90’s simple interface allows the user to alternate between °F and °C and activate the MAX/MIN and Data Hold functions with ease.
The Extech PH90 pH tester features 2 or 3 point calibration that automatically recognizes buffer solutions (sold separately). It also performs an automatic temperature compensation to ensure accurate results.
The PH90’s PTS (percent of slope) function eliminates the guesswork from determining when it’s time to replace the electrode (below 70% or above 130%).
Because it is intended to be used both indoors and out, the PH90 pH meter is built to IP57 specifications. This means that the PH90’s sensitive electronics are protected from dust as well as from immersion in water. Should the device be dropped in a body of water, the PH90 water quality meter is designed to float, in order to facilitate retrieval of the meter.
