REBLOOMING EVERGREEN SHRUB: Autumn Sangria Encore Azalea is a reblooming azalea that will give you months of beauty instead of weeks. Once they have bloomed, the first thing you will notice is the large, deep pink flowers! The blooms of this azalea are some of the largest there are. These evergreen shrubs make an excellent foundational growth plant and grow well in mass. This fast grower can span widths of 4' W x 4.5 H.
PINK FLOWERING BUSH: The encore Autumn Sangria Azalea can be used as a focal point around the yard and garden to accentuate entries with their dense growth habit. In the spring, summer, and fall, the beautiful blooms of deep pink will become a host to several visitors, such as butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees.
NO PRUNING: Autumn Sangria requires little pruning to retain its form and does not need to be deadheaded! If you would like to prune your azaleas be sure to do so immediately after the spring flowering. Once well established, light pruning may facilitate growth and flowering in future seasons. AVOID fall pruning as you will be removing buds that have begun setting for the next blooming season.
USDA ZONES: The Autumn Sangria is hardy in zones 6-10. Quite tolerant, these outdoor plants can live in full sun, but they prefer partial shade if possible for optimal blooms. In the early years, water regularly and especially during dry periods. Like all azaleas, these grow well in acidic soil with a maximum pH of 6.5, but it prefers lower, around 5.5.

Water 2-3 times per week during the first growing season. During its second season, water 1-2 times per week depending on the weather. Afterward, it only needs supplementary water during times of extreme heat and drought. Fertilize your plant with variety specific fertilizer 2-3 times during the growing season, starting in early spring.
