Is this filing cabinet sturdy? What is its weight capacity?
Yes. It features reinforced panels and upgraded metal hardware for stability. The recommended safe load capacity is 110 lbs (long-term loading above this may cause damage). The desktop supports 66 lbs, and each drawer supports 22 lbs.
Why is there a noticeable label on the desktop, and how can I remove it?
The label is required for anti-tip safety compliance and uses strong adhesive. Removing it directly may leave slight marks. For best results, warm the edges with a hair dryer on low heat to soften the glue, then peel it off slowly.
Why do some parts break or misalign during assembly?
Do not fully tighten the screws at the beginning. Align all holes first, then tighten everything at the end. Most damaged parts occur when screws are overtightened.
Why are the drawers hard to open? Why can only one drawer open at a time?
The cabinet uses an anti-tip interlock system, so only one drawer can open at a time. If a drawer feels tight, it is usually due to incorrect slide installation or overtightened screws. When installed correctly, the drawers slide smoothly.
