The CURT TruTrack weight distribution hitch with sway control is quite unique from other weight distribution hitches. The TruTrack weight distribution hitch not only redistributes the tongue weight of the trailer to put less stress on the tow vehicle, but it also integrates the function of a sway control unit to actively control trailer sway.
This combination of weight distribution and sway control into one product allows for some of the smoothest, safest towing possible and allows you to start enjoying your passion sooner, without the stress and worry of an inadequate towing system.
The TruTrack weight distribution hitch with sway control eliminates the need to purchase a separate sway control unit. It uses two cooperating methods to control unsafe trailer sway: a spring & cam system and adjustable brackets.
The spring & cam system of the TruTrack weight distribution hitch keeps constant pressure on the spring bars to resist lateral movement. This keeps the trailer better in line with the vehicle while still allowing for smooth turns.
Unlike traditional weight distribution hitches that use spring bar chains, the TruTrack weight distribution hitch with sway control has adjustable brackets. These brackets keep the spring bars fixed in place and can be adjusted to fit a variety of towing setups.
The TruTrack weight distributing hitch comes with a pre-torqued 2 5/16" trailer ball and has two neutral spring bar settings that allow compatibility with virtually any A-frame trailer, whether narrow or wide.
The CURT TruTrack weight distribution hitch with sway control doesn’t just rely on friction. It combines both spring bar friction and a highly durable spring & cam system to control trailer sway.
The cams of the TruTrack load-leveling hitch are made from hardened metal to be less subject to wear. They are also allow the hitch to remain quiet during operation.
Unlike some weight distribution hitches, the TruTrack weight distribution hitch does not require periodic adjustments to maintain proper integrated sway control.
