TC is the sum of the HDL and LDL numbers. Either a high HDL number or a high LDL number can make your total cholesterol number high.

Trouble Shooting

E-1	The lipid profile strip is damaged or inserted improperly. >> Discard the test strip and perform the test again, using a new test strip.
E-2	Insufficient amount of blood has been applied. >> Discard the test strip and perform the test again, using a new test strip with a sufficient blood sample.
E-3	The lipid profile test strips are expired. >> Discard the inserted lipid profile test strip and perform the test again, using a new lipid profile test strip.
E-4	If the environmental temperature is above or below the acceptable operation range. >> Move to an area at 64-90°F, then wait for 30 minutes. After stabilization, perform a test. Do not artificially heat or cool the analyzer.
E-5	The communication between the analyzer and a computer or a printer has failed. >> Try to connect again.
E-6	A code chip of other manufacturers is inserted. >> Check to ensure that the code chip is from the package of the test strip inserted. Insert the correct one.
E-7	The door of the analyzer is open during the measurement. >> Close the door and do not touch or open the door during the measurement.
E-8	The door is closed for testing without a blood sample. >> Re-test with a blood sample.
E-9	The analyzer cannot communicate with the inserted code chip. >> Re-insert the code chip.
EEE	An internal error of the analyzer has occurred. >> Turn off the analyzer, and then turn it on again.
