We do get questions about whether Agralawn will kill the weeds that aren’t listed. This weed killer will work on the weeds listed, but we can’t do the same for unlisted weeds.
For best results, apply Agralawn Crabgrass Killer to grass early in the day, while morning dew is present. You can also choose to just wet the affected area with a hose, irrigation or spray bottle, then apply Agralawn to the wet grass. When used properly, Agralawn causes very little reaction to St. Augustine or Bahia lawns.
Only apply Agralawn to the affected area, being careful to dust all the weeds and/or weed grass you want to control. Apply a light to medium coating in even strokes. Noticeable results should be seen in just 3 to 5 days. To avoid the product washing away, wait to apply it if rain is forecasted or directly before watering the lawn.
Reapply as needed, we don’t want you to use more than what’s needed. Completely cover the area you want treated, but you can save time and money by mowing the area first, so you don’t have to use too much product. Mow the weeds down, but don’t completely remove the weeds as the treatment must be absorbed by the leafy part of the weeds.
While Agrawlawn is very easy to use, some might attempt to use it differently than intended, which could waste your time and product. Please follow the instructions and your lawn will come out beautifully. Date printed on bottle is the manufactured date, not the expiration date. Shelf life is 5-8 years from date of manufacturing when properly stored. Just keep the bottle out of direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
