Converts 12-volts DC to 6-volts DC to provide proper voltage for a 6-volt factory backup camera or any device that needs 12 volts coverted down to 6 volts. Most factory backup cameras are 6 volt power so this converter is needed to make the vehicle's 12 volt turn into 6 volt.
