Every Caithness Glass paperweight is a unique piece of art, handcrafted in Crieff, Scotland. Inspired by the rugged beauty of the Highlands, our master glassmakers blend traditional techniques with modern design to create mesmerising liquid landscapes frozen in time.
High-purity sand and minerals are melted at over 1200°C. The maker gathers the molten crystal, ready to be shaped by hand and breath.
Coloured enamels and mineral powders are carefully applied. This is where the 'Loch' blues, 'Heather' purples, and 'Moss' greens are born.
Once cooled, every piece is inspected and hand-polished to ensure the crystal is optically perfect, allowing light to dance through the internal design.
