Why does the heating element change color?

How to remove limescale?
Add an appropriate amount of white vinegar and salt to the kettle, then add about 200ml of water and boil it. After boiling, let it soak for at least 30 minutes. After pouring out the water, you can remove the limescale with a scouring pad.
The base station is unresponsive and won't power on at all. How can I fix this?
