The Green Giant can grow in a range from full sun to partial shade as long as they get at least 4 hours of direct sunlight per day.
Measure the area where you want to plant a hedge or row. You will need the length of the area of planting to estimate the number of trees needed.
Water your Green Giant a few times a week for the first six months. Once established, regular rainfall should be sufficient to keep it watered.
No need to prune this tree if you are growing it with enough space for it to maintain its naturally graceful pyramid shape, but shear if needed.
