20 YEAR LIFE WARM WHITE LED BULB INCLUDED: This Brightech lamp includes an LED bulb rated to last 20,000 hours, which works out to a 20 year life with normal use (about 3 hours / day). You never have to replace a bulb and save 90% on your electric bill in comparison to halogen or incandescent bulbs, because LED doesn't waste lots of energy by producing heat. This also avoids accidental burns if you brush the light.
The Madison weighs about 20 pounds. Its total height is 4 feet, 8 inches. The table top rests at 24 inches from the ground, and measures 18 x 18 inches. The shade measures 10 by 12 inches. It has an A line shape and a spider fitter and can easily be replaced as desired. You just need to make sure that the new shade fits onto the included harp attachment piece.
The lamp is operated easily with the built-in rotary switch near the socket. The power cord is over 5 feet long. This lamp works only with 110v outlets but is safe to use in 220v outlets with a 220v-110v voltage converter.
With technology always on the move, we're working to bring the best and brightest to everyone. The Madison works with Alexa and smart home devices, but it needs to be connected to a smart plug to work that way. If you do not already have one, you will need to purchase one separately.
Once you have the Madison set up and the plug connected to your smart home device, you leave the lamp in the on position and let the technology do the rest.
When you purchase the Madison, you'll get everything you need for assembly. All necessary hardware, nuts bolts, caps, clips, etc are included, so that you don't have to go running around for them yourself. Some reviewers do mention preferring to use a screwdriver to finish tightening everything in place. Assembly is easy, just follow the included instructional diagram!
We've included a 9.5 watt power saving LED bulb in the package for your convenience. It has a natural 3000 Kelvin color temperature with 800 Lumens and the bulb will last for years before it needs to be replaced.
Our bulb is not dimmable, but you can switch it out with a dimmable bulb or smart bulb if desired. The bulb base must be an E26 base and it cannot exceed 100 Watts (the max wattage the lamp can handle), but can be any shape.
