Pop the tank in your dishwasher, or wash by hand with a mild soap. Wipe dry before putting it back—clean tank, fresh air.
Mix 20g of citric acid per 1L of water. Soak your filter for 1 hour. Rinse. Repeat weekly for even fresher humidification.

We recommend every 6 months. The filter indicator on the interface of your humidifier and in the Blueair app will notify you when it is time to replace your filter.
Do I have to use filtered water in the Blueair Humidifier?
No you don’t! Thanks to the wick filter, you can use tap water with confidence as it traps minerals & pollutants.
How do you refill the Blueair Humidifier?
First, turn off your humidifier. For top-fill model, gently pour water into the top until it reaches the max fill line. For bucket-fill models, remove the tank, fill it with water, and pop it back in place. Once it’s filled, turn it back on.
How long will the Blueair Humidifier run for?
The humidifier can run up to 48 hours but will vary depending on the mode, room size and temperature.
