After flying for several months with his stock AVL58 that comes with most Phantom 2’s, he upgraded to this baby and boy does it rock. Where he was getting about 500 meters distance before break-up of the FPV video feed, the other day he took it to 850 meters. While his transmitter lost contact and the phantom began a return-to-home function, the video was strong even once the drone turned around and the antenna was in the rear. A condition that often times caused video flicker. While there is much discussion over the need or even legality of a unit with this much power, welcome to get one before they do make it illegal.
